Overview: A self assigned UI project in which I reimagined Final Fantasy 8 and updated it for the modern audience in much the same way as the Final Fantasy VII Remake.

Main Menu

Redesigned from the menu of the original game, inspired by the modern iterations and remakes.

Weapon customisation

A customisation system allowing weapon components to be switched out to alter their stats and effects, a logical evolution of the original game in which weapons were incrementally upgraded.

Revamped Junction system from the original game with expanded magic system inspired by other Final Fantasy titles.

Dynamic heads up display to access command menu in battle and view party member's HP, ATB bar and Limit gauge at a glance.
